About Me

Hi, my name is Portia. When I started this blog, I was a job-seeker and soon-to-be-graduated master’s student studying applied economics at Montana State University. As my post-schooling life took precedence this blog fell to the wayside, but I am so happy to resurrect it for the Freedom Room.

The purpose of the Freedom Room is simple. It’s a place where we can talk freely about freedom, without fear of judgment or censorship. In it I will ask questions and share ideas about all things freedom, with an emphasis on economics, economic history, markets, data, and value creation. I welcome questions, respectful debate, and civil discourse. Only through active discourse and varied input can we help each other begin to approach the truth.

In the Freedom Room, there’s room for you and for me. And your weird friend with the crazy opinions (because only other peoples’ opinions are “crazy”, am I right?)

Enjoy!
